This is my laptop spec(K501UB): https://www.asus.com/Laptops/K501UB/specifications/

Storage:
2.5" 7mm SATA3
- 500GB HDD 5400 RPM
- 750GB HDD 5400 RPM
- 1TB HDD 5400 RPM
- 1TB HDD 7200 RPM
- 128GB SSD (M.2 2280)
- 256GB SSD (M.2 2280)
16GB SSD Cache
(On selected models)

M.2 2280 represent the size of M.2 SSD but how am I know/check that it is supporting PCIe?

Solution
You should pass on the SKU located at the underside of your laptop for us to understand if your unit has an available an M.2 slot. Are you yet within warranty? If not you can disassemble the laptop and locate the slot yourself:

Hi Lutfij, yes I'm sure that my laptop has an M.2 slot but I had forgotten the pin patterns because the only time I saw that slot is 2 years ago that when I'm installing extra ram to my laptop. But having a M.2 slot doesnt mean it support PCIe right?
