Asus laptop not holding charge

Hey guys and gals so I have an ASUS Laptop that’s only 2 years old and recently after not using it for 3 weeks I plugged it up and it never went above 0% battery and died within 2 mins of being on.

I removed the battery and tried to see if it would stay on just using the ac charger and it did the same thing.

I then installed the battery back in and even tried using a different charger and nothing worked. I did notice the battery LED light is solid orange for about 3-5 seconds then goes green for 1-2 seconds.

Does this mean that it’s not the charger or battery but could be the actually ac connection is faulty? And if so how can I confirm or replace this issue? Thanks in advance.

It's most likely a bad battery.
