Asus laptop shuts down when charged

I have Asus laptop and when laptop is on power it does not open or open and immediately shuts down. When is solely on battery it opens and functions properly.
Does anybody has some idea on what is this problem or how to solve it?

have u try running with the adapter only without battery?
