Solved! Asus laptop skipping certain keys

I have an Asus Republic of gamers laptop and today certain keys stopped working but will work as normal when another key is pressed simultaneously. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the keyboard but the problem persists. I've also tried rebooting the computer without reinstalling the driver but it did not help. It seems that if I press a lot of keys at the same time, sort of like raging at the keyboard, all the affected keys (All of those between A and L - with some exceptions) start working again. After a while they fail.

I have seen the same question asked in 2017 and there does not seem to be an answer. Could these keys be affected because they may be on the same circuit? Thanks for your tip in advance, tomorrow I'll try with an external keyboard too.

Sounds like a defective/dirty keyboard. Have you tried connecting an external keyboard to see if the system behavior changes?

I'm going to get one and try in the following days - i was just wondering if it could be anything else apart from those things, something that could be fixed from the software side?
