I tried to turn it on with the battery - Not Working

I tried to turn it on with the battery an AC adapter - Not Working

I also tried it just with the AC Adapter - Not working.

Does anyone know why that might be the case?

Solution
Unfortunately, the only way that I know of to find the problem would be to try it with a different charger. You could go to a computer store and pay them to diagnose it, but if they are honest all they will do is try it with a new charger, and then with the old charger and a new battery. ( If they are not honest, they will tell you that the motherboard has to be replaced.) Sorry.
Without sarcasm - the case is that it's broken.

To narrow things down: How long have you had it, did it used to work, how long did it work before it stopped? Did you notice that the time it got on a fully charged battery was decreasing? Is it possible that your AC adapter is at fault - do you have access to another one to test this theory?

I've had it for 4 years now. It used to work but it stopped working today. The time it got on a fully charged battery was decreasing. And i sadly don't have another AC adapter. I hope that's enough.
