Asus M3n78-Vm ability to unlock 4th core Athlon II X3 440

Hi, im wondering if their is a way to unlock the above CPU from 3 to 4 cores using my asus m3n78-vm motherboard?

Ive already updated to the latest bios version, but cant see any options involving this.

Any advice or answers would be appreciated.

Hi.

No, u can't since for unlock cores u need an AMD 710 SB or better and ur chipset is nVidia.

I think but remember that the unlock core always depend of the CPU and the mobo not only from the mobo.

U can test 3 X3 440 and only one of them can have the 4 core unlocked and stable. Bear in mind that before buy a new mobo for something that isn't 100% sure plus the X3 can give u an amazing performance in games and applications the only difference with the Phenom series is the L3 cache.
