Looking for a laptop for school use/gaming while waiting for next class at school and stuff, and I was wondering how the N61JQ fares as a laptop.

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16834220696

How is the price, and what should I expect from it with my intentions? Thinking about games like BC2/MW2/SC2, and will use it for notetaking as well.

Sumemrized specs:
Brand ASUS
Model N61JQ-X1

CPU Type Intel Core i7 720QM(1.6GHz)
Memory 4GB DDR3
Graphics Card ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 1GB DDR3 VRAM
Weight 6.50 lbs.
Screen Size 16"
Resolution 1366 x 768
Weight 6.50 lbs.

So I'm wondering whether the low resolution is actually a good thing for games, since it's less to render, but not sure how good the CPU/GPU are.

Also someone pointed out http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...7302&srkey=n71 to me as well, and I noticed it has a 1600x900 native res and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 240M gtaphics card, however, it only has a Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHz processor instead of the i7 in the other one. Also, it has a bigger screen.

Which is better, and in your opinion would I be wasteing my money trying to buy a laptop that can play games?

Na, that's $600 more...although it is a sexy desktop replacement
