Asus not starting up please help

Hi, my Asus computer (not sure what it is) is not starting up. When I press the power button the hard rive and fans kick in but then 4 long beeps and 1 short go on a repeated cycle constantly. What does this mean?

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in solving that issue.
- Do a hard reset first, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds.
- Next is to reseat the RAM, remove them all for couple of seconds then put them back in making sure that every RAM is seated properly.
- If these doesn't work try to boot the laptop without its battery and see if it will boot up normally.
