Question ASUS TP550LA

My ASUS TP550LA computer comes on ok screen ok on mains, switch to battery and the computer comes on but no picture , battery new , plug power in screen comes up what can I do please , Thank you for any help

I had to take the original battery out because it it whose damaging the case ,has it start to distort the case after 13 mouth's ,
put a new one went on for over 2 years without any problems them computer goes on on main, ok, but on battery no screen, but computer working alright it works well on second display, the battery is a compatible battery from another company , Asus paid for the battery I put in .

so is the battery new from asus or got it over 2 year ago?

battery replaced with a compatible one from another supplier, all whose ok for about two years ,them screen only come on on main power, switch to battery power no screen,on but connect second monitor on the HDMI port all ok on battery power.
