Question asus will not reboot with a disc and bios have been changed correctly :(

My asus had disc drive errors that weren't being repaired. Backup and restore would not work. System image link would not work. I have saved both drives to an external hardrive and burnt a restore disc. Now I get a blue looping restart screen. When I go into bios I have changed everything to boot from disc but nothing seems to work. I have a windows repair disc and a windows utility creation disc. neither work.. all I get is the black 'reboot and select proper boot device' screen. Can anyone please help as I have watched heaps of utube videos and nothing has worked. Whats my next step please?

Sounds like you need to replace the drive. No other way to resolve this.
