Asus X205TA battery not working

My asus X205TA battery's not working. If I have it plugged in it turns on and says "battery fully charged (100%)", but if I unplug it it turns straight off! Similarly, if I try and turn it on while its not plugged in, it wont start up! Help!

That's a pretty recent model, did you check with Asus support already? Did you try to reseat the battery?

Hi Exactly the same problem! I only set up my laptop yesterday. So frustrating! Did you manage to sort it out, and if so, how? I hope you can give me some advice.
