Out of the two you mentioned, the Fujitsu one is more powerful. But what do you mean by Football Manager games? Like, the sports games such as Fifa?

They dont have alot of difference the first one has 1.7 CPU + 1MB cache and the second one has 1.6 CPU + 2MB cache, so they dont have alot of difference

yep they will be fine for football manager (to the worminator, yes football manager is a game produced by EA games and yes it looks like fifa and the only difference is that u are the manger not the players )

Well, you have to note that the first one is Core Duo, while the second is Core 2 Duo, so there is an architectural difference that will lead to at least a moderate amount of extra performance in the C2D. Then again, don't ask me to quote a number, because this is only my educated guess.

Football manager 2008 is a game by Sega-Sigames, i think in USA its named World Wide Soccer Manager.

so the fijitsu is faster by a little, the Asus has a inbuilt Webcam,

how do the two companies match up on reliability?

is the Asus a good laptop for its price? or should i look for better deals,

basically the only game that will be played is football manager, which only uses 2d graphics, and will be used for office etc, msn,

would it be able to run football manager 2008 and msn as well as internet at same time?

(my pc pn a 1gb ram and AMD 64 4000+ can so the laptop should be able to cope  )

thanks for all the help, much appriciated
