Asus x541n shuts off if unplugged

My Asus X541n will say that it is at 100% charged but as soon as you unplug it, it shuts off. It will work fine as long as it's plugged in.

The computer seems to have a bad battery. Will it boot up and run fine when it's NOT on that charger? I.E. Unplug charger, attempt to power computer up. If the computer does not power up, then you probably have a bad battery.

It's probably the battery, which is what I thought was probably the problem.
