Hey I have the Asus smart gesture on and it's a relatively new problem whereby scrolling with the two fingers is starting to slow as when I do it, it takes a couple of seconds to actually scroll and it just jumps instead of scrolling. From the smart gesture it seems like there's always a finger on it which is not true and even though I don't put any fingers on, it still has one and it doesn't update if I use two or use the mouse buttons for a while after using them.
I don't know if it's dust causing this but I like using the two finger scroll as it's very easy but I'm just not able to do that right now
Can someone please help. :)

Hi,

Try to uninstall/reinstall the driver of your touchpad first because most likely it's just an issue with the driver.
- Go to Device Manager then uninstall the driver for your Touchpad.
- Download and install the Touchpad driver from this website. http://www.asus.com/support/Download/3/663/0/2/41/
- Reboot the laptop once the driver has been install for all the changes to take effect.
- Test the laptop once loaded back into the desktop.
