ROFL. Yeah after they arent the only iPhone retailer, lets see how many of those points still hold up.

Their 3G might be "faster" but then again its non-existent in the majority of the area Verizon provides 3G.

Heck, his only good movie is Rushmore.

Wow, AT&T pretty much gave up any right to sue Verizon ever again with that pouty sore loser comeback. It's one hundred times more worthy of a lawsuit than what Verizon did. When I was researching carriers, I saw that same blue map on the AT&T website for 3G coverage. So what is there to sue about? Let's get real, AT&T does the monopoly on the iPhone thing and they think they are the victims? Put together a better network and offer it with a simple and fair price and it won't matter what Verizon jabs about.

As for the MS / Mac commercials, no doubt Apple has witty and well done ads. MS ads make you scratch your head and wonder what the hell was that? They are really pointless and odd commercials. Whoever writes MS commercials needs to be admitted for psychiatric help. Seriously. It's not that I think Apple has bad products, I simply hate others telling me what I think I should have and then charge me a premium for it. So, incredibly bumbling MS commercials and all, I still prefer oddly Gates capitalism over patronizing Jobs socialism.

[citation][nom]ninfanlink[/nom]lol half of those things are because of the iphone. At&t would be F***ed without it![/citation]
And your point? If Verizon didn't have, for example, any cell towers they would be 'f***ed' themselves. What could you possibly mean?

It was an advert for their 3g network in response to Verizon's ads.

Listing the iphone's features has nothing to do with their infrastructure.

LOL WTF. This is ridiculous. Verizon should respond with a "Yeah, AT&T has all that, but we'll have all of that next year, plus our kick ass network...and still have a "V" in our name". Cause not to sound redundant... but that was all about what the iphone has. And now the droid, blackberry's, and HTC's I can't believe that Verizon doesn't come close to Apps that AT&T has.

I see all this talk of 3G, but other phone carriers are working on the 4G network... I know how people flood over BIGGER NUMBERS (as American like I am) without knowledge they flock to that...

This is what is going to happen -- both companies will run themselve in the ground until they no longer exist because all funds will be over lawsuits and sueing and advertising!

[citation][nom]duckmanx88[/nom]lol where is t mobile and sprint. they should get in on this. "while our competitors squabble over 3G networks and spending millions on advertising, we're working on our 4G network and infrastructure."[/citation]

Because their 3G networks blow. Shit, even their 4g network isn't up to par with Verizon or AT&T's 3g network.

[citation][nom]mayne92[/nom]Exactly! I have to admit, if Sprint was in my area...I'd drop "...that has a V in it" quicker than shit![/citation]

Sprint is in my area....and they're service has been known to drop calls faster than any customer can drop Verizon... My ex-girlfriend had a sprint contract, but never any service...their coverage area here has always been very small....and buying out Nextel didn't really help that problem.

All AT&T has is the iphone. The vast majority of the apps they talk about are iphone related.
Considering how good android 2.0 is, they have no leverage anymore. The Droid is better than the iphone and even more powerful devices are on the way. The locked app store, annoying itunes syncing, and all Apple's garbage is not worth it. Unless you are drinking the cool aid there is 0 reason to use an iphone over an android device.
