AT2020 Volume always resets to 100% on recording devices??

the title says it all, I've looked at all google pages but none seem to work i've already contacted audio technica but im awaiting a response from them besides that not sure what else to do. If anyone has a fix i'd appreciate it 😀

If you are talking about a at2020USB which is a usb mic, yes, it would do that if you unplug it from the computer.

WHAT DO you mean i have it plugged into the rear of my pc and its always connected so i dont see why it would do that.

ok, so if you are leaving it plugged in, then what ever software you are running is automatically adjusting it. If you are using a web browser with this in any way, you need to download and install their application that runs on your computer because web browsers do not have media controls and probably won't have until HTML6 comes along.

Well how else am i going to use the mic with it not plugged in the pc? also its the AT2020USB+ version sorry if it caused any confusion. as for the web browser i don't use the mic with any web browser of sorts. i just use it as a normal mic and play games with friends. The only time my mic resets to 100T% is when i launch steam games. i don't see why it does it.
