Let's be honest, they didn't really make quality games to begin with. Some of their games were okay at best. Atari seemed to have made the mistake of putting way too much confidence in them. With the Test Drive series and the god awful 2008 version Alone in the Dark. I'll always remember them for making that awful game, not because of it's poor quality but because it caused Atari to throw a fit that you would expect from a small child. Threatening lawsuits against those who reviewed it poorly. It's honestly amazing that Atari kept them around after that flop to begin with as it was clearly a heavy investment by Atari.
