How to hook the audio cassette player directly to Sony TV to record the program. There is no mic or line in. Please explain

Solution
Your CFD-V8 does not have capabilities to record from microphone, or external source, only from radio or CD. Your TV has Audio Out, so a way to record TV would be to have an FM transmitter connected to the TV, with recorder radio' tuned to that signal, and recorded. Depending on your technical skills, this could be easy, or hard, and will entitle spending $20 for parts.
For this to happen, two things are needed: A TV with audio output (line or headphones), and a recorder with line-in. If your recorder lacks line-in, check whether it has built-in microphone.

Might help is we knew the makes and models of the cassette and TV.
If it is a cassette "player" then it can't record anything.
If it is a recorder it may have a built in mic. You can use that to record audio from the TV.
You did not need to post you question twice. The answer won't change.
