audio connection solution

PLEASE. I need to connect my Pioneer XV-DV313 home cinema to smart TV... there is no HDMI option in the surround system and I would like to make an AUDIO connection so I can have the sound going out trough my home cinema... Please? A simple red and white audio cable would work?

Your first link just brings up a lot of pictures, am sorry am not going through each one.

Basically wo HDMI, you next option is an Toslink, or SPDIF (coax version of Toslink) connection for surround service.

Wo the above, your next option is stereo only, via headphone out (TV) to LineIn/Aux (DV313).

Your HTS only has analog audio inputs. The TV seems to have an optical digital audio output.
You will need an optical cable but without an optical to analog audio converter it won't help you.
