Question Audio help please

I have Windows 10 (hate it!!!), anyway I plugged in Plantronics headphone with mic into desktop with USB. I can hear my online game thru headphone speakers. I configured my mic and said the sentence Windows told me to say, it came back and said mic working fine. This headphone and mic were both recognized by my computer. So I start my game and try to talk to team members but they cannot hear me. Can someone help me with this?

Yes win10 is a bit of a hassle, what can you do lol - sounds like it could be the microphone permissions.​

I can record my voice just fine. Team mates still can't hear me, like mic isn't going thru.
