audio on hdmi trouble

When I plug my laptop into TV the image appears fine but when I set the audio to come out the tv and test it it says "this device is being used by another application. Please close any devices that are playing audio to this device and then try again"

Hi,

Please do try to uninstall/reinstall the sound card driver of your laptop.
- Go to Device Manager and expand Sound
- Right click on the sound card driver and select Uninstall.
- Reboot the laptop and it should reinstall the driver automatically.
- If it doesn't install the driver properly, you can download and install the driver from the manufacturers support site.
