Audio Playing through speakers and headphones at the same time.

I've had a problem for a few months now, where my audio plays through the speakers, and headphones at the same time. It only does this in the audio jack, and doesn't do it through the USB port. I am on Windows 10.

Have you checked the Playback device settings?

Right click the speaker icon (lower right screen corner) and select Playback devices.

Find and select your device(s). Check the various properties and settings. You will probably need to drill down in the various tabs and windows to see all of the available settings.

I have looked through all of the settings before multiple times, and can still not fix this problem.

How did you connect it through the audio jack? Did you plug it in through a split(meaning a separate cable with two female connections and one male connection going into the audio jack)?
