Audio Popping Noise upon start up or ending of audio source.

When watching videos or anything that involves an audio source there is a distinct audio 'pop'. Have had this problem for a while and will not go away.

Relevant Hardware
Intel core i5-6500
Asus h170 pro gaming motherboard
Audio Technica Ath m50x headset

The issue so far seems to be with realtek audio drivers and I have not been able to find a fix.
