Audio Recording from speakers...

Anyone know of a a program that can record audio directly from my speakers? I know audacity can but I don't know how and the guides on how to do so don't work. Can anyone recommend another program or explain how to do it in audacity? Thanks!

If it doesn't work, go and get a 3.5mm audio cable and connect the audio out (green) to the microphone (red).
