I am in desperate need of some answers!! I have an ASUS computer, OS windows Vista 64 bit. It has a Realtek AC'97 integrated sound card. I do online karaoke and the Realtek is not compatible with the Adobe Flash Player 9 that my main website uses. The sound quality is HORRENDOUS and the sound card in general is not good (my opinion).

Ok...so you say...upgrade! I did that...now I have a whole new set of problems. First of all, I CANNOT find the AC'97 in the BIOS to disable it...I've looked and looked. I have tried a couple different sound cards, not expensive ones (i'm on a limited budget) and I can never seem to get the "What U Hear" option in my recording devices (YES, I have right clicked to "show disabled and hidden")

I can't record, share or sing live without the "What U Hear" option. Is this a Realtek conflict? (Realtek has the "stereo mix" option, but I can't get it to work with any other sound products!)

I'm really frustrated, I've researched and asked and talked and noone seem to have an answer for me....maybe y'all can help?
