As Aukey was outed from Amazon because of fake customer reviews, can somebody help me understand if Tom's guide reviews in the past for the Aukey products are based on independent testing and impressions? Essentially are these Tom's guide reviews still valid or should they be considered part of fake reviews?

As Aukey was outed from Amazon because of fake customer reviews, can somebody help me understand if Tom's guide reviews in the past for the Aukey products are based on independent testing and impressions?
