.15 acres is about 607 square meters. I wonder how this thing copes with hills. If I come into some money it might be worth it not to have to haul my existing mower back and forth on the slope I have (it is less than the 35% the specs state it can handle).

Can't imagine having peace of mind with my lawnmower working unsupervised in the garden. How does it deal with curious (read stupid) animals and kids that come too close for comfort? All the same at least you could sit back with a beer and just keep an eye on it :)

Honey the neighbor is asking if we have seen their kid, have you seen their.. OMFG look honey~ our back yard~~!

'just' 0.15 acres? My garden is barely 5 square meters. Obviously, I won't be buying this.

Also, don't leave unsupervised, as people say: it will be stolen

The only really environmentally friendly lawnmowers are the ones powered by the human, no electricity/gas required. It's annoying when every bloody new gadget is marketed as "green" when clearly that is BS.

I would even bet that a standard electric mower (with cable) is greener than this, after you take into account all the extra circuits and battery needed in this vs a very simple electric motor.

Cows will mow your lawn for free and even give you milk and cow poop for free.

I'm out!

Well, until it picks up the piles of dog crap that are too small to get hit by the blades, yet big enough to stink up a whole room in the house if stepped in.

[citation][nom]SteveLord[/nom]So are we going to dish out tax credits on this too?/sick of green propaganda[/citation]

That's a good idea. I'm heading down to town hall right now to suggest it. If I can get one or two of these FATC(free after tax credit) I wouldn't mind having them.

Ahh...captain planet, the ted turner propaganda show.

Where do people think the energy comes from to charge a battery from a wall socket? It's not magic.

(I am of course not talking about the solar powered model)
