I came here to read a review to help me consider whether to add the VPN feature to my existing Avast AV. Clearly Avast does not have some basic things in order so now I'm questioning whether I should be using their antivirus at all. If they can't get this right then what's the point? Avast pop up offered me VPN for roughly $24/year, give or take a little if you sign up for longer. To my frustration Avast was not offering a trial, so I decided to close it out, and then to my surprise, another "wait don't leave us" window opened. Seriously? Why not offer that up front unless you can't stand behind your product? To make matters worse, the offer is for a 60 day free trial bill followed by a bill more than TRIPLE the cost of the previous offer.
