back light works but no picture

I replaced the screen on a dell 1545 the back light works but no picture, any help PLEASE

Hi, why did you changed the screen? Maybe the ribbon cable connecting the screen isn't inserted correctly.

Screen was cracked, after I changed the screen and cable, I figured it had to be the motherboard so I changed that without any luck the back light works but that's all

Meaning that you have a white screen?

Meaning that you have a white screen?

meaning the screen is black but you can see the back light lit.
