Back screen on a laptop, keyboard wouldn't work.

Hi, guys, I'd appreciate help with my issue.

I have Laptop Acer 7720 G but with upgraded CPU. It was working fine for years, had windows 7 installed.

Few days ago it received some windows update, installed update before shut down. Later i started it up again, laptop started, no problem, but screen wouldn't work at all, not even boot info is displayed, not even acer logo, nothing. And laptop keyboard wouldn't work. Tried plugging usb mouse in, the light on a mouse just blinks and shuts off. What do you guys think? Motherboard?

I know it's an old laptop, time to get rid of, but it has important info on its hard drives.

Have you tried a power cycle? Could be a firmware issue.

To cycle it: Remove battery and AC adapter, press + hold power button for 5 seconds, reconnect power and test again.

Beyond that, you can remove the RAM and test for any different behavior.
