[citation][nom]nikorr[/nom]My neighbor has one, not electric one tough : )[/citation]

Where I grew up my neighbor had one too, I always got excited when he drove by, it was pretty awesome to see as a kid.

[citation][nom]de5_roy[/nom]delorean as ev will rock. perfect for the old futuristic car.[/citation]Yes, and it's much easier to stick a nuclear reactor on an EV than try to retrofit one with an internal-combustion engine.

Maybe its the geek in me, but i really want to win lotto so i can preorder one of these bad boys. I hope they do well, and live up to the iconic standards.

The DeLorean was a major flop in terms of sales even with back to the future. Pricing it at $90,000-100,000 is surely not going to help unless this one comes with a flux capacitor.

Stainless steel body and electric power. I can see it now...cable comes loose, dude goes to open the door and wakes up stuck in the passenger window of the car parked next to it.

lol

Most car bodies are made of conductive material (steel or aluminium). That's why they work like a Faraday cage when hit by lightning.
Only exceptions are some exotics with bodies made from carbon fibre, fibreglass or other plastic.
