Backlit Keyboard installation

Is it possible to upgrade the keyboard to being backlit on this model?

You can't just 'upgrade' to a backlit keyboard. The device has to have that option already. It requires a different motherboard, as a standard one doesn't provide the needed connection/power to run a backlit one.

If you really want a backlit keyboard, you need a laptop that has one.
