Hi i don't know what forum to post this to so I am just going to post it here.
I have an JVC sound bar with an wireless base but there is an problem with it. It can handle quick triggers like an explosion pretty well but if there is an long lasting base tone it struggles to keep it smooth it becomes pretty yanky. Is there a solution to this or is the base just bad?

Solution
Maybe the unit has developed a fault. How old is it?
You should be able to get a clear sound from it at reasonable levels, unless it has blown, or there is another fault with the built in amp.
Depending on the RMS power output of the built in amp, it may just be a case of the bass levels being too high. Try the same again, but adjusting the bass down in small increments until the sound becomes less distorted. You may just need to take things a little easier on the bass unit, as a lot of these units are not designed to handle such harsh levels.
Give that a go, and let us know!

Hope this may help.
