bad ps3 graphics on panasonic viera

Hi, i when i play on with the ps3 on my tv it looks terrible but on my friends TV it looks much better so can you guys tell me how to get a higher revolution on my Panasonic viera?

1)connect through hdmi
2)ensure that in ps3 options you have chosen the resolution to match your tv (most probably 1080p)
3)switch between limited or full, HDMI RGB range in PS3 options to find the best possible picture quality
