Battery charging limit to 70% (Voyo vbook V3)

Hello everyone.

I bought a Voyo vbook V3 with CPU N4200 and OS windows 10.

The problem is that the battery charge stops at 70%. Even if it’s plugged, it stops charging. Basically it behaves as it’s 100%, except it’s not. It’s not just a visual glitch, because the battery lasts only 3 hours and something, while it should last about 5 hrs.

I can’t find any solution in the battery saving settings.

Did anyone have the same problem, with this model or any other notebook? Can it be solved, or should I send it back?

I'm having the same problem. Purchased Voyo Vbook A1 and charging stops at about 48%. When it goes to 0%, the device shuts down (power is cut) so it is not only a visual glitch like you say.

I tried everything - calibrating the battery (full discharge-charge) for a number of times, unplugging it for a number of hours etc. I've searched for a solution but to no avail.

Have you been successful in solving this please?

We are out of luck, I havent't found anything on the forums. I sent several emails to their address (voyojack@foxmail.com), but no answer.
Gearbest offered me $30 but I decided to return the item, as PayPal will refund shipping cost.
Now that I know about this very common problem, and how this voyo support service just doesn't exist, I think I will opt for a full refund instead of a change.

I would recommend to not accept so quickly before actually finding a solution.
The reason I returned it is that I think there is actually no solution at all. If there was one, as the problem is so common, Gearbest would probably know and tell you, instead of losing so much money to refund each customer who encountered it.

Yes, you're right. I've given up hopes that the battery will suddenly start working as it should. I was rather thinking of a solution like replacing the battery with another one. Apart from the battery, I don't have any issues with the device. I also paid substantial importation fees which gearbest would not refund to me when returning the product. So, all in all, it does not make much sense for me to return it. Unfortunately, this is how it is if you buy from China...

I see, it's different for me since I buy from Italy and it's one of the few countries (I think along with France Spain Germany and UK) for which I am sure not to pay customs fees thanks to their express shipping.
Paying fees twice is a big bummer and definitely not worth it.
