Battery error charging 0%

My asus a46cb can't to charge, the notification if charge plug just 0%. That mean my battery error or have some part broken in my Laptop

most newer laptop have a small chip in the battery if that chip fails..battery will read zero. if you have a local store that has the same battery in stock try a new one or a known good battery for testing.

How old is your laptop?

Your problem sounds like a bad battery. My Dell Latitude D531 did the same thing when I bought it (used off Craigslist, I was aware of the problem).
