battery on insignia tablet will not take charge

I just purchased a referbished insignia tablet and now i cannot charge battery.

I would take it back to the seller and get them to give you a working device. Refurbished or not, the battery should work. That is one of the things they are supposed to replace when they 'refurbish' it.
