Battery or no Battery

So I'm using a Lenovo legion Y520, and sometimes when im charging and playing, it says that its 99% battery and not charging so im a bit afraid that either my battery or my charger is broken

Is it better if I disconnect and remove the battery and just use my laptop as a desktop where its always plugged in if you want to use it?

it will not work without the battery in it learn that a laptop battery will die eventually and do not get worried about it.

99% it wont charge to prevent overcharge and overheat occasionally run it on battery just to let it discharge then recharge. it will learn as they are smart batteries. it will work without battery but then it will shut off with power fluctuations or flickers and you take the chance of losing data or messing up hard drive.
