Battery will not charge

Toshiba Satellite Laptop; Model e55-a5114 with Windows 10. Battery will not charge when plugged in. Unable to disconnect battery from laptop. Need input please on resolution. Hair shy of reinstalling Windows 8.1 as Windows 10 has proven to be typical Windows product; a hot mess

it looks like trying out a new battery might be the only viable solution. you can check the old batteries if has any charge stored in it.

Hi Nick, did you manage to fix this problem? I have the same problem, I already did the DC Jack exchange, and the problem continued.
