BDP (s3500) will not turn off

I turned on my player to watch a movie on Netflix, but it had to reconnect to the Internet beforehand. After that, it just quit responding.

Unplug it from the AC outlet for a few minutes and try it again. If it's still bad then it may be time for a replacement
