Been getting a lot of ads, pop ups, and things that download by themselves...

So i accidentally clicked on a website that may have had some virus or something and now everything is slow. I had chrome and tried to re-install but now i cannot download it whatsoever. I click on download then it gives me a blank page with this:

I'm trying to download it and install adblocker but i don't know what else to do. I downloaded AVG but they only had a trial for about 2 days or so. I also downloaded Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, recommended by a admin you can say on sevenforums, to get rid of some of the things I have in my pc. Nothing has really helped with the chrome download problem and am now asking here. Please help.

When all else fails, back up your data on another drive of some sort and do a clean install of windows. You should be able to use malware bytes and avast to find some stuff. If nothing works there, look through your installed programs and remove things you know you don't use. You can also take a look at your startup items by typing msconfig into the Run window. This lets you see what starts up when you first boot up. You can disable things you know you don't need to turn on right away like Skype, AIM etc. Be careful as there are some windows processes here that are needed, so again only disable things you know you don't need to start up. These are the options I would look at personally though some may have other ideas.

you could get avast free only need a em-mail to register and made a strart up scan without network in the same time load firefox and delete all files of chrome before getting him back dont forget to do a full malwarebytes after virus scan even on back up .

Sounds like an infestation!

You need to run CCleaner and SlimCleaner to get rid of some of the bloat. Then run Avast for an antivirus. I would next run Super Antispywate, and Antimalwarebytes.
