Best 12 inch screen laptop - please help

I'm looking to get the best 12" (or 12.1") screen laptop for $950 or less. Any suggestions? I wont be doing much gaming on here, I just want it to have a fast processor. I'd prefer XP over Vista Please let me know what you think!

You are going to have a hard time finding a competent 12'' laptop for under 1 grand. I think the Toshiba Satellite U205 may be the best you can do for your price and even then it's 200 over your budget.

Can you wait before you buy? I would recommend saving a bit, otherwise you will not get the notebook you were hoping for.
