Best $300 Windows 2 in 1

Hey guys, currently I'm planning on buying this 2 in 1: ASUS Transformer Book T100HA-C4-GR

On Amazon I can find it for $300. Before I buy it however, are there any good competitors to the transformer book? I would like to get the best for my money.

Usage:

All I'll be using the tablet for is typing up articles or doing other light stuff on the web (like moderating Tom's Guide and Tom's Hardware), and reading e books. I'll probably need it for VNC and streaming in the future.

Requirements:

Comes with a Pentium or Atom Quad Core Bay Trail or Cherry Trail CPU. (Or higher)
Comes with a keyboard (unless the extra for the keyboard option + tablet is under $300).

I don't know of anything better. I was thinking perhaps the HP Pavilion X2, but it only comes with 2GB of RAM and the 64GB option increases the price above $300.

I was thinking about getting one of these inexpensive 2-in-1 laptops for myself, but I have a problem "downgrading" to something so... limited. Now if these Atom CPUs can be close to the performance of a Sandy Bridge Core i3 CPU, then that would get my attention.

Well, the thing with me is that I just need a tablet that's fast enough for note taking (which is why I need the keyboard), basic web browsing/video watching, and some multitasking and that's it. From what I've read, these small ATOMs should be good enough for that.

I think you have picked the best 2-in-1 given your limited budget. I checked around for others around your price range I can't really find anything that is comparable. You have basically selected the best one all on your own.

The Atom X5 Cherry Trail CPU is pretty good. Only the X7 found in something like the Surface 3 is better. 64GB is a good amount of storage for the price you are paying.
