[citation][nom]mrpijey[/nom]Well what did you people expect? Any decent hardware will cost money. You can't pickup a good and brand new tech for free. It's like with the netbooks, you could pickup some crap netbook with a bad screen, slow CPU and slow SSD for shits, or you could get a much better one, but then it would cost you a lot more.If you want a cheap tablet then get one of those crap chinese ones, usually some heap of plastic, an old and outdated screen jammed in and a CPU that makes your cellphone look like a beast in comparison. And you'll get it next to free. The Galaxy Tab was expensive, but it was also top of the line of Android tablets with excellent quality build, all features you wanted and excellent screen and speed. This Tegra one looks even more powerful. Get your heads out of the clouds and face the reality.I've tested a few of those el-cheapo tablets and they have been next to useless. I also own a Galaxy Tab and iPad and they are lightyears ahead in every department, speed, quality, enjoyment, features, durability...You want good stuff? Then you'll pay premium.[/citation]
Sorry to say mate, but you sound like an ignorant prick - hope you're not one though. Just because you have the means to purchase all the gadgets to your heart's desire doesn't mean we all do. Android is still a platform aimed at geeks and people who are ready to fiddle around with the device. If you sell this kind of device to Apple-esque prices, other than a few well to do geeks, there's not a lot of people who will be buying it, since most people paying 800 bucks are not going to take the risk to brick such an expensive tablet.
