Best camera for 120fps and crisp quality?

Hey guys I'm hoping someone can give a quick and simple answer here. I was wondering whats the best camera to use for 120fps slow shots etc. that has nice crisp quality in 1080p. I'm thinking of doing some car, cinematic type videos and all sorts of other stuff. Should I go with a camcorder? or a DSLR camera like a cannon for better video quality, or go simple and just get a GoPro. The only prob with a GoPro is that you cant really see what your filming unless you get a backing or whatever. I'm looking to spend anywhere from $550 down.

My vote would go to the Panasonic. GoPros are good for Action Cameras but are limited in what you can do with them. If you don't need waterproof, dustproof or shockproof the Pansonic is a good buy.

I had the JVC equivalents - well the cheaper models anyway - but I kept getting sand in them so I now use action cams. But the JVC were better as a camera.
