I am getting ready for a trip overseas in about a month and was looking at a gaming controller for my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for playing Retroarch to keep myself occupied. Of the features needed (6 axis, 2 sets shoulder buttons/triggers, mounting bracket), these are the choices I am looking at:
http
/www.amazon.com/IPEGA-Wireless-Bluetooth-Controller-Joystick/dp/B00OZHU1R6/
IPEGA Wireless Bluetooth Game Controller Classic
http
/www.amazon.com/Mobile-Gaming-System-Android-Smartphones-Pc/dp/B00BTDBSXU/
POWER A MOGA Pro Mobile Gaming System
http
/www.amazon.com/C-T-R-L-R-Gamepad-Android-Devices-M-O-J-O-Micro-Console/dp/B00FR7U15U/
Mad Catz C.T.R.L.R Mobile Gamepad
http
/www.amazon.com/Phonejoy-Bluetooth-Controller-Android-iCade-Package/dp/B00J5AEKQ6/
Phonejoy Bluetooth Game Controller for Android and iCade
Cost is definitely an issue as well, especially if a $30 will do the job just as well as a $90 one.
Another factor for each controller is how much work will be needed to get the controller to work in Retroarch and if rooting is required or not (or having to buy an app as well).
I'd like to hear what kind of experience you've had with them.
