Best Entry Level DSLR Camera

Hello, I am posting today about a question for a DSLR camera. I have always used my smartphone cameras and don't have much background on other cameras, but I have finally decided to upgrade for the fact that my smartphone camera is not good quality and I don't have enough storage. I am also taking a trip to Europe next week and really want to make the best of it with a good quality camera. Keep in mind this will not be the only time I use this camera. I have a son who plays soccer so really need to have a good quality camera. The only problem is that I am on a budget. I don't want to spend a lot of money so I am in the budget range for about 500-550$. As a bonus, I would also like to know what type of lens I need. Please and thank you.
