Best gaming laptop options

Looking to get a gaming laptop. Preferably around $1000, no more than $1500.

Whats that SSD for? Not familiar with them, and is it a plugin or a take apart laptop, then install? Can you have that cooling pad resting on your lap? I play while sitting on a lazy boy lol so laptop is always on my legs.

and of course, do i need the SSD for it to be a good laptop for gaming? Since, i may not be able to purchase it right away

I dont suppose you could link me to the best custom build on XoticPC preferably around $1100-$1300?

There are just so many options, and to my own knowledge i do not know too much about. I'll just post the list of what i've found so far, or have been suggested. If you are willing to pick out the top 2-3 that would be awesome. Though i am quite interested in the dominator as well. Anyways heres the list

Preferably the cheaper ones, since i will most likely be buying that SSD and Lapgear, and of course shipping will be expensive.

You think the anti-virus pack you can choose is worth it? If i include it, it would be $1325, without it $1250

The sager's also look quite nice and are cheaper. Why choose the Dominator over the Sager? Is there much of a performance difference, etc?
