i am a young artist/architect always on the move (so i need a laptop).
I use 3d modelling programs (3d max, sketchup, ...), use a LOT of the adobe collection (photoshop,illustrator, PREMIERE (BIG time on the video editing),after effect, ...), without forgetting all de CAD programs et finishing with some vj programs (resolume, ...).
I am in a quest of a monster! So size doesn't matter! I live in Europe so it has to be possible to buy it here (without the USA border taxes (40% its massive!!!))
My budget goes around 3000€. So if it could survive for at least 5 years I would be happy (i know that heating and time isn't the best friends for the processors (thinking of the AORUS X7).
Is the alienware 17 R2 + amplificator worth the shot? Or if you guys have any other ideas I would love to hear it!!
