Best laptop, computing engineer student

Hey, looking for the best laptop for me. It should be able to run programs for c sharp, networking and general computing/uni stuff.

I live in the uk, scotland so the website needs to be availble there.

ONLY thing is a £500 budget MAX nothing else

You don't need a very good laptop for that, go for one with an i5 or i7.

For 500, this is what I would get:
Samsung NP350V5C if you don't do any gaming (integrated graphics)

ASUS N55SL if you do minor gaming (discrete Nvidia GT 635M)

Note that the ASUS has a Blu-ray drive.
